[…] Pero la verdadera reina, por el personaje que le confiaron, fue la inmensa Anna Bonitatibus. La mezzosoprano italiana, aun desde las primeras frases de su entrada, realizó repentinamente un cambio radical en la representación. Es un descubrimiento bello y cariñoso constatar cómo esta artista, que Italia parece ignorar (pero la Italia actual es uno de los países mas distraídos del mundo), ha conseguido una gran madurez y profundidad vocal e interpretativa. Provocó escalofríos con su intensa Didone: cada palabra, cada frase, cada gesto, fueron pensados, profundizados, cincelados hasta el mas mínimo detalle por la artista Bonitatibus. La densidad de esas emociones, una tras otra, nos encontró desprevenidos, y hacía tiempo que no las sentíamos tan fuertes, sobre todo en el repertorio siglo XVII, que todavía sigue siendo, en muchas ocasiones, solo una secuela de agradables melodías y nada mas. […] Anna Bonitatibus cumplió ese milagro, y su intuición musical y artística fueron mucho más allá de cualquier imaginación. Voz esplendida y dominio de sus medios, sonido con cuerpo, gesto vocal y musical, que son de todas formas su equipaje habitual, hicieron que la Didone de Bonitatibus destacara sobre todos, y la mezzosoprano conquistara su sitio entre los artistas italianos más notables de todas las épocas. Il mezzosoprano italiano fin dalle prime frasi pronunciate alla sua entrata ha immediatamente innescato un cambio radicale nella rappresentazione. È una scoperta bella e affettuosa costatare che quest’artista, di cui l’Italia sembra non accorgersi (ma l’attuale Italia è uno dei paesi più distratti del mondo), abbia raggiunto una tale maturità e profondità, sia vocale sia interpretativa. Fa venire i brividi l’intensità della sua Didone: ogni parola, ogni frase, ogni gesto era pensato, approfondito, cesellato fin nel più piccolo particolare dall’artista Bonitatibus, e la densità di tali emozioni, una dietro l’altra, ci ha colti impreparati perché era da tempo che non se ne sentivano di così forti, soprattutto nel repertorio seicentesco, spesso, ancora oggi, eseguito distrattamente e manieristicamente, come una successione di gradevoli melodie e niente più. E invece è proprio nel Seicento musicale, soprattutto se si hanno a disposizione dei libretti eccellenti come i capolavori letterari di Busenello, che un artista consapevole può sbizzarrirsi nell’interpretazione. Anna Bonitatibus ha compiuto un miracolo, con un’intuizione musicale e artistica assolutamente fuori dell’ordinario. Voce splendida e dominio dei propri mezzi, corporeità del suono, gesto vocale e musicale a parte, che sono comunque il quotidiano bagaglio dell’artista, la Didone della Bonitatibus si ergeva su tutti, e il mezzosoprano acquista un suo posto nell’empireo degli artisti italiani più notevoli di tutti i tempi. […]
